The named sections are open again under K-water’s status. Check the live notice list before riding after further heavy rain.
K-water says the bike roads on both sides between Sicheon Bridge and Gyeyang Bridge, the west-side Gulpo-cheon connector, and the named nearby facilities reopened on July 24.
K-water closed four areas at 21:30 on July 17 after heavy rain and sediment entered the area:
The north-side and south-side bike roads from Sicheon Bridge to Gyeyang Bridge. The west/left-bank bike road along the Gulpo-cheon connector waterway. Aramaru Observatory. Ara Waterfall.
The same notice is now marked as reopened and says access was restored on July 24.
The named sections are rideable now under K-water's status. That does not confirm the condition of the entire Ara route, and it is not a field report from Cycling Korea.
After another spell of heavy rain, check the live list rather than assuming this July reopening still describes the day you ride.
The closed section is open again.
Check K-water's live notice list before leaving if more heavy rain has fallen.
